Title: How Could You Run When You Know?
Fandom: Merlin
Characters/Pairings: Merlin, Morgana, or perhaps Merlin/Morgana, you decide. There might also be a tiny bit of Merlin/Arthur.
Rating: PG-13 or thereabouts
Warnings: slight gore? And heapings upon heapings of angst from start to finish.
Spoilers: There's a line of dialogue from The Beginning Of The End, but nothing more.
Word count: 936
Disclaimer: This bit of the legend is owned by Shine and the BBC, although I wouldn't do much differently if I did own it.
Summary: What if magic isn’t something you choose, she’d said to him once, what if it chooses you. And eventually, they both gave up pretending they didn’t know what the other was capable of.
Notes: So this is my first Merlin story, but God knows I've read enough of them. I must say, though, that I was surprised that my first foray into this fandom didn't turn out to be Merlin/Arthur. But this plot bunny invaded my head yesterday while I was trying to get some work done and wouldn't leave me alone until I wrote it. So. It turned out darker than I originally intended it though. Many, may thanks to [livejournal.com profile] brightedelweiss for the beta and the title and lyric at the end come from the song Ohio by Crosby Stills Nash and Young so apologies to them for commandeering their song about a completely separate - and much less fictional - tragedy.

Eventually, they’d both seen just too many executions. )

Title: Here In Norman Rockwell's Neighborhood (1/2)
Fandom: Smallville
Characters/Pairings:
Chloe, Clark, Lionel, a bunch of other people, Clark/Chloe (what!), Jimmy/Chloe (that's more like me.)
Rating: PG-13
Spoilers: in this chapter, from the first season through the beginning of the fourt season. through season eight in the next.
Word Count: 4,606.
Disclaimer: Smallville and its characters is owned by the CW, Warner Brothers, DC Comics and Al Gough and Miles Miller, not me. Also, a substantial amount of the dialog herein is from the show itself and was not written by me, I just incorporated it into my reading of the story.
Summary: At seventeen, Chloe Sullivan thought she had seen it all. A character study of Chloe Sullivan.
Author's Note: And to think that this started off in my head over a month ago now as a short little vignette of the Chlark scene in Arrival. Over 4500 words and hours upon hours of writing later, I haven't even gotten to Arrival yet. Up until fairly recently, this was going to be a one shot, but it was just getting so unwieldy that I thought I'd better post this now that I'm at a stopping point about half way through before its too long for all of your attention spans. Thanks, as always, to [livejournal.com profile] svgurl for the beta.

She had been so pissed at her father that morning. )
Title: Driver Picks The Music
Fandom: Smallville
Rating: PG
Spoilers: Bride
Word Count: 1,645
Disclaimer: Smallville and its characters belong to the WB, the CW and DC Comics, not me. I also didn't write any of the songs briefly quoted herein.
Summary:
Clark and Lois get stuck in traffic during a storm, and we find out how Lois works to dispell awkwardness.
Author's Note: Written for the Christmas challenge at [livejournal.com profile] 12days_of_clois.This wasn't going to be this late, I swear! Somehow Christmas snuck up on me this year and bam! suddenly I need to get this done. So it's unbeta'd, just because I was on a time constraint. And, yes, that is a Supernatural shout out, if anyone was wondering. Merry Christmas!

“Major traffic on all roads heading out of the city, reporting delays ranging from thirty minutes to three hours. And those are only going to get worse as the snow starts falling harder, so if you’re leaving Metropolis, I suggest you get out now. The storm’s here, folks, it’s gonna be a white Christmas. Have a merry one. For METROQXZ traffic, I’m Cindy Strothwise.” )
Title: The One Thing Chloe Could Never Get Used To

Summary: If you thought that if Chloe could deal with the whole "my best friends an alien" thing, she'd be fine with the smaller details that go along with it, you thought wrong.
Author's Note: Oh, the things that happen in my brain when I'm supposed to be studying for finals. This is basically total crack. And it's unbeta'd.

She brushed past her and entered the apartment, looking for either a drink or her future self. )

Summary: Clark says goodbye.
Author's Note: I keep trying to write Stopping It chapter three but then I get these other plot bunnies. *sigh* So this is just something I always thought should have been included in Reckoning.

I didn't dive in after Lex's car! It hit me at 60 miles an hour! Does that sound normal to you? I'd give anything to be normal. )
Title: Stopping It
Fandom: Smallville
Pairing:
 Clark/Lois, probably others later
Rating: We'll say T for brief language and violence
Spoilers: through 8x05, Committed.

The barn finally faded back into view. )
First chapter.

Whut I actually wrote it???

Title: Stopping It
Fandom: Smallville
Pairing:
 Clark/Lois, probably others later
Rating: We'll say T for brief language and violence
Spoilers: through 8x05, Committed.
Disclaimer: I don't own Smallville or Superman or these characters, I'm not making any money here, etc. etc.
Summary: Clark and Lois have to say the world, but to do it they'll need to confront their future together.
Author's Note: The idea for this story came from a meme I did which brought forth the prompt Clark/Lois / Clark/Lois. I've read a few stories in the past that have dealt with Clois in multiple verses or ages, but I've tried to make this different and completely my own. This is also my first official shot at writing Clois, but God knows I've read enough of it over the years to have some idea of what I'm doing. Also, many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] svgurl  for betaing this. Enjoy!

Lois Lane was snooping. This was not an unusual occurrence, but she wasn’t used to snooping around the Kent farm. )

Next chapter.
Title: Bros Before Hoes
Fandom: Supernatural
Characters/Pairings: Jessica, Sam, Dean. Sam/Jess.
Genre: drama, angst, horror
Rating: PG-13ish
Status: 2,870 words. One-shot. Complete.
Disclaimer: I do not own Supernatural at all and no profit is being made from this story. Also, all dialog used herein was written by Eric Kripke, not me.
Author's Note: This is my first competely venture into fanfiction, although I've dabbled in a few uncompleted WIPs before this. Also, SPN is not my primary fandom, although I do watch it faithfully, so some of the back story I made up for Jessica may conflict with things Eric Kripke has said, I don't know.
Summary: Jessica's boyfriend had always been vague about his family, but an unexpected middle of the night visit from his brother brings all Jessica's questions to the forefront of her mind. Takes place during the Pilot.

Jessica Moore was your typical Stanford University student. )
